Absolutely the best food i have ever had, by far the most energetic atmostphere. and the only resturant where you feel like you are at home with relatives. the owner gives us hugs when we leave, and makes us smile no matter what kind of day we have been having we are on our way there again today for lunch. i hope to see others there to enjoy the great food and fun personality of the owner.

Denise puts her heart and soul into what she does. And not a fake smile and contrived courtesy. She really makes it her mission to fill your guts with something that will satisfy your hunger or ease a hangover, while you enjoy it in a place you can feel comfortable, around vintage decor, and leave feeling 10X better than when you came in.

Denis is simply amazing. Great atmosphere there, and always leave feeling great. Good food, good company, and many repeat costumers. And who can complain about the hugs when you leave. Am already looking forawrd to my next visit

It always feels like coming home when you walk in to Thunder Bay Restaurant. Denise always ready with a friendly greeting, hugs before you leave and Bernie in the back with a warm hello! My husband and I love going as much for the atmosphere as the food, we are so glad that we have become part of this wonderful family.

This is one cool place. You feel like you are in Berkely, CA; Greenich Village, NY; or Toronto in the Hippie 60's & 70's. Denise is an original. A HOOT! The food is just so so but the ambiance of the place is 5-star!
